Safe Learning Environment Pt.3

My Students

My fourth grade students are innovative, resourceful, hopeful, resilient, adaptable and eager to learn. We are part of a larger school culture that embodies perseverance each and every year. This year will be one with unforeseeable barriers, obstacles, and challenges that will challenge us to think critically at every turn. Our mindset is one of growth. It is one that demands resolve, critical thinking, optimism, introspection, and creativity. This is our approach, expect the unexpected, and pivot. We will never lose site of the goal, to foster a joy for learning and commitment to excellence in our work, together. These are my students, I am honored to be their teacher, and I can't wait to go on this journey together.

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my students learning by allowing me to finish creating a safe learning environment for them when they return to school.

The kids face masks and gloves will help ensure that all students in my class have the opportunity to enter into classroom to learn because there will be critical layers of protection provided for everyone if they are not provided prior to entering.

I do not want any students in my class to have to make the decision whether or not to come to school because they forgot or do not currently have a mask. The Covid-19 symptoms sign and decals will be a daily point of reference in our class to exhibit potential life saving behaviors on a consistent basis. The gowns and shoe covers will ensure proper personal protective equipment for teachers.

As their teacher I am passionate about delivering a quality and equitable education to my students. While doing so, it is of the upmost importance that we are safe. With your help on this project, that can happen!
