My Students
As a substantially separate classroom, our goal is to support students academically, socially, and emotionally. To do so our students need structure, rules, and clear expectations in all aspects of the hybrid teaching model we will be introducing this year.
My class consists of energetic, enthusiastic, and hardworking students that will require more support and clear guidelines to navigate through the 2020-2021 school year.
School can be a difficult place for children especially for those with learning challenges and behavior. This year our students will had the added obstacle of COVID-19 and how that impacts their daily school life.
Our school is located in Title I district where a majority of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Our school as a community is full of diverse, motivated, and ambitious student learners. Please help our learners have a safe and thriving 2020-2021 school year.
My Project
The 2020-2021 school year is an uncertain time. For many teachers, students, and families this has anxiety and fear. Schools are deciding on teaching models for the fall including in-person learning, remote learning or a hybrid of both. Our school is moving forward with a hybrid teaching model which now has teachers trying to figure out what that will "look like" in the classroom while following safety guidelines.
Help ease our families concerns by supporting social distanced workstations in the classroom and continued access to academic tools when learning remotely.
This project with be used to make individualized workstations for students to store writing utensils, worksheets, folders, materials, and reinforcers throughout the day. These stations will support socially distancing in the classroom while not limiting students access to resources.
On the flipside, my students require significant support to access remote learning. With the gift card to Teachers-Pay-Teachers it will give me the ability to purchase more in-depth and accessible resources to better support my students throughout the year. Please help us make this uncertain school year a little.
