This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is a big family of youth hearts vibrating with every single new experience and interaction we create for them. We all know that with all single experience, materials are needed. Our furniture is around 20 years old and is in need of a replacement. Cots are bent and unsafe for students to sleep in, and the dramatic play area furniture is basically in pieces. Our students love to pretend, learn and share ideas and roles in that area but lately have been limited because of the furniture conditions.
Essential preschool classroom furniture gives the child the ability to feel independent and secure in their space.
Please help us to bring backspaces for students to relax, think, and learn. and focus during the school day.
