My Project
There are many students in my classroom that have medical conditions or take medications that limit their exposure to the sun and the heat. There are also many events that our students participate in that put them into the sun and the heat. There are several school wide activities as well as Special Olympic events that would be denied to these children without the added protection.
We would like to provide a canopy that will protect the students from the sun will allow the wind to blow through the sides.
We will still bring portable fans and plenty of liquids. The goal of this project is to allow all students the ability to participate in all outdoor activities that are offered to the general population. My students are special in so many ways, but the most importantly they are special because of who they are. To know my students is to love my students.
