This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have such a drive to become more independent and experience various activities that they can complete with little to no assistance. They love it when we are completing a cooking lesson and are always so engaged in every step of the process.
I would really love to see my students be able to be 100% involved in all the steps that could be achieved through safer cooking utensils/items.
Nothing makes someone feel more accomplished than being able to complete a task without support. It is also so crucial for them to learn how to be able to cook simple recipes because one day they may be able to live a semi-independent life.
