it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All students are special, but when they are yours, they are extra special. Our students have had it rough. While many students returned to in-person learning last year, we are still seeing students in upper grade levels attending in person for the first time, as well as students who haven't socialized (or socialized well) with peers. Anxiety is still running amuck and their social skills are in need of fine-tuning. These resources will help me reach students and teach important life skills, as well as keep confidentiality (that's what the printer is for- otherwise I have to print to a shared printer with confidential student information that cannot be shared with anyone else). Because I teach whole classroom lessons, the wireless presenter remote will make presenting much easier instead of having to travel back to my computer to get to the next slide in the presentations (as I am usually walking around the room to make sure students are engaged and learning). The fidgets are for students and include the liquid floor tiles, toy sculpture, and the stacking game. The model train passengers and the plastic dough tools will go into the sand tray that is used for play/ play therapy, which is also what the LEGO will be used for. The books are to add to my social-emotional learning library used for bibliocounseling! Please help me help our students!
