This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Within the academic setting, the need for mental health support is more pressing than ever. Our school-based therapy office has been a beacon of hope for students facing various challenges. We need your support in furnishing the office space to create an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. A thoughtfully furnished space can facilitate trust-building, openness, and engagement, which are essential components of effective therapeutic interventions.

Your support will directly contribute to the well-being of our students, creating an environment that fosters emotional resilience and academic success.

By investing in the furnishing of our school therapy office, you are helping to break down barriers to mental health support, reduce stigma, and promote a culture of empathy and understanding within our school community.

Comfortable seating will help students feel at ease during their counseling sessions. Functional and adaptable furniture will support different therapeutic activities and interventions. Thank you for considering our request.
