This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a teacher, creating a safe and healthy learning environment is one of my top priorities. In my classroom, my nonverbal students spend the majority of their day so cleanliness and hygiene play a critical role in maintaining the well-being of everyone in the space. I need to make sure I will keep them safe. Another thing is, I need to teach them about "sounds", a modern technological tool to make the learning process more engaging and effective is an iPad. This will became a central tool in my project, providing a versatile platform for various educational apps designed to help students with speech and listening. Through interactive games, audio prompts, and sound recognition exercises, students could easily engage in learning activities that encouraged them to listen attentively and mimic sounds.
