This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work in a Title I low income school which integrates students on the Autism Spectrum with their able-bodied peers. Half of our school children have special needs and many get free lunch. My Intermediate students with Autism have a great need for organization to help them with their schoolwork.

I want to help my students with Autism engage in class without worrying about keeping themselves organized.

This project's materials will keep supplies neat and tidy allowing us to focus on learning.

My Project

My special needs children with autism have been online for a year and a half and are coming back into the building. My students have autism which can make them sensitive to clutter or disorganization. They attend a Title 1 school and many are on the free lunch program. Obtaining supplies can be a problem for my families.

School seat organizers and foldable fabric bins under the chairs will allow all my kids to have all their things right at hand without sharing items .

These solutions will keep things nice and tidy ! They will have renewed confidence in their learning because the can access all their supplies quickly and independently.
