Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The thing that I love most about my students is their energy. Each day, my students come into the gym with energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn. They love working independently as well as learning how to work with partners and in teams.
Being in an inner-city school, my students come from diverse backgrounds and do not always have access to the newest equipment but with your help, they can!
Our gym is currently being remodeled, and I would love for my students to have new equipment to use once our gym is finished! All of the equipment mentioned in this project can be used indoors or outdoors which is great because we can use it during the whole year! The paddles, table, and frisbees are all made out of safe materials so students of all ages will be able to enjoy them! The jerseys will be used whenever we play team sports so that students can learn that teams have uniforms.
