Help me give my students the opportunity while working at home with remote learning.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Brown's classroom raised $396
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students come from different parts of the city. Some of them are more fortunate than others. Most of my students are from low income families so therefore their resources are limited. My students are excited about learning and always willing to participate in a fun engaging activity.
My Project
Many of my students are not fortunate enough to have basic supplies to work with or work on while being at home. While students are sitting at home in front of provided chrome book students will be able to identify and write uppercase and lowercase letters of the alphabet. These resources that I’m asking for will be helpful tools posted behind me so they can see pictures of the alphabet which connects with the skills being taught by me from my house to each of them while they are sitting in front of the computer at their residency. While students are using the materials the plan is to keep them engaged while they are participating with their classmates.
One of my skills that I would address, will be for my students to be able to write down the letter that I specify by saying the sound using their whiteboards, markers or crayons.
Another skill I would address, will ask for my students to identify the uppercase letter I’m holding up in front of the camera and they will write the lowercase letter of that specific letter.
Students will be able to follow alone and show their work.
More than half of students from low‑income households
