FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. A.'s classroom raised $171
This project is fully funded
I work at a Title 1 school in North Carolina. I am presently a 2nd grade teacher who has taught at Glenn Alpine Elementary now for 8 years.
The children have been in the process of making books. This past week, we had a Literacy Specialist in our schools to discuss ways we could make our school a better place. She suggested that I get a Saddle Stapler to create professional looking books with my students that would be a lot like books we see from professional book-binding companies. We would like to have the opportunity to create books and display them in our media center for other students to read and check out.
Our request is for a Saddle Stapler so we will be able to bind our quality works and allow others to see what a wonderful job we have done. This item could be shared with the second grade team so the grade level will all have the opportunity to make these books.
The children will gain from the experiences we can have if they had this stapler because they will have more opportunities to create books if they are simpler to make and bind. They will also have a professional quality about them so they can be added to the library collection for check out. Thank you for considering our proposal.
