My students need an IPad with a protective case for my fifth grade science class. Interactive learning activities such as virtual dissections can be accessed with it.

My Students

Science is a quickly changing field. Our textbooks cannot keep up with all the changes happening in the world around us. Technology is one way to give my students access to the current events and lessons available online.

My fifth grade students attend a school that is only 3 years old.

We do not have all of the technology that takes years to acquire. Some of my students that I will teach this upcoming year were also victims of the recent tornadoes. Some were in one of the elementary schools that was destroyed and some had homes, apartments, or duplexes that were destroyed.

My Project

An iPad will enable my students to keep up with the ever-changing world of science. I teach about 100 fifth graders who will benefit from using the Ipad to perform virtual dissections, visit sites like NASA.org, and they can even use it to keep records during science experiments and check out books from my classroom library. The ipad can also be used as a record keeping device and an enhancement to the hands-on experiments we perform often in my classroom.

By donating to this project, you will be helping my students in their quest to become scientist that use up to date technology.

We only have one computer in the classroom and one other iPad to use currently. This project will give more students more opportunities to learn.
