My Project
My students are some of the greatest students in the world. I admire how they come to school each day ready to learn in my classroom. We all know that students who have a good snack have the energy to stay focused in school and be successful in their classes. The majority of my students come from poverty and are currently living in poverty. Our school will be starting afterschool tutorials back up for our students who are struggling academically.
How can my students be successful if by the end of the day they do not have the energy to stay focused in afterschool tutorials?
The majority of my students will be in afterschool tutorials, and they desperately need a snack, such as chips, juice, or candy, to replenish their energy after working hard all day in their classes. The snack will help them to continue to stay focused as they work on reading skills that they need to be successful later on for their state test. The snacks for this project will definitely help my students replenish their energy and put a huge smile on their face knowing that they are able to receive a snack during their afterschool tutorials.
