Running With the Wind!

My Students

I am excited to be a part of the girls running club this year! This is my first year helping to facilitate this club for the girls at our elementary school. I have heard that the students who join this club are excited to be a part of such an awesome club!

I'm thrilled to see these students grow in their running skills.

I can't wait to be a part of such a great group of students who are ready to use their strong bodies!

My Project

I am so excited to help coach girls in a sport like running! We have a young running team, with mentor high school girls who come and help coach and practice with our young girls! The reason I love running so much is that first, anyone can do it! Second, girls can be uplifting and cheerleaders for each other. Third, they have to work hard and can always see the reward as they get stronger and faster. Fourth, they can learn to be friends and care about each other but when it is time to race they can be driven to push hard.

I could go on and on about the amazing benefits of running and what it does emotionally and physically for young women.

I am asking for your help in getting some shoes and running jackets to help supply our kids and helpers with as much of the gear as we can so that we can get more girls joining our team, without the worry of cost.
