This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a lively group of kindergartners that enjoy learning. They come from low income households and qualify for 100% free breakfast and lunch. Currently, the district is offering the Grab and go meals for every student to get free meals Monday through Fridays.
I am so proud of my students for transitioning to online learning as they are actively learning through our zoom courses.
My students and their families would appreciate your support with greatly needed resources and supplies to keep my students active as they are faced with this pandemic.
My Project
I want my girls and boys to develop a passion for running, but first I will need to get them in shape. I will use the jump ropes and hoops to strengthen their legs and hip muscles.
The cross-training will help all my students become elite runners in the future.
They will be able to enjoy running in parks and school once we are cleared from this pandemic.
All of these activities will provide the students with the necessary cardio workouts to help them stay healthy and so that they can join the running club once we return to school.
