My Students
My students are a rockstar group of learners! We learn and play together in a classroom with diverse backgrounds and unique abilities.
Our school's quote this year is, "Daring Greatly" from the speech by Teddy Roosevelt.
I believe our students can "Dare Greatly" and show what they know with a little help from you!
My Project
The solar car kits will both deepen our Science curriculum, get students excited abouts stem and expand their overall excitement in science!
Our fourth-grade Science curriculum requires students to design, test, and refine a device that changes energy from one form to another.
Students will build solar paneled cars. The solar-paneled cars, which they build themselves, are the best imaginable way to make every student a master of this curriculum. Even more significant, building solar powered cars forces students to follow directions, problem solve, think critically, and work together to accomplish a very desirable goal-- having a self-built, solar-powered car!
