Help me give my students a new rug and some supplies for the kids! I use pencil boxes for their supplies to keep them organized and our carpet is old and a nice rug would be amazing!

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love to give my students optional spaces to work if they would like to, other than their desks. Our school’s carpet is old, and it would be nice to provide a soft, clean rug for our morning meeting and individual workspace. A rug would provide a nice addition to our room by adding a calm color scheme. Students like to work in other areas around the room, other than being in their desks. A rug this size would provide additional space for students to spread out and work. I also use the rug space for group projects. Students use the space for reading, math, and science. Also, the pencil boxes are for the students to store their supplies and keep them organized. I use the Astro bright paper for handouts and cover pages for packets.
