This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We need a classroom rug! Can you imagine sitting on a hard floor, trying to focus and learn all day long? Help me provide a soft place for my kindergarten students to sit! This will give them a sense of belonging and comfort in their first school experience. For young children, a classroom rug is a symbol of security, warmth, and connection. It creates a space where they can gather, engage in hands-on learning, and feel supported by their peers and teacher.

By helping fund this rug, you're not just investing in a piece of furniture—you're investing in their growth, their confidence, and their love of learning.

Your generosity will provide a foundation for these children to explore new ideas, make lasting friendships, and begin their educational journey in an environment that feels like home. Together, we can give them the safe, cozy space they need to flourish and succeed.
