This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The "Make Space for Everyone" rug will give my students a fresh clean space to learn. It will provide a gathering place for read-alouds, social emotional learning, morning meeting, independent reading time, and so much more.

The goal for this project is to give our classroom a much needed upgrade.

It will bring a sense of pride and excitement to have a fresh clean carpet to learn on. The rug area will be a place for students to gather, relax while reading independently, and learn from their teacher at the board.
