My students are a wonderful and exciting group of boys and girls, in an ICT (integrated collaborative teaching) classroom. This means that 40% of my students are in special education, and the rest are in general education.
We are a Title I school and work hard to ensure that everyone learns and succeeds.
I want them to have everything they need, and deserve to have, to make their school year exciting and fun, as well as productive and successful throughout the entire year.
My Project
Kids love fun puzzles and with these Rubik's cubes, our special needs 2, 3, 4 and 5th grade students will be able to learn important Math (STEM) ideas to help put the colors back together again. These Rubik's cubes are for an in school clubs program for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders who are Special Education and ICT students. They are so into finding ways to solve puzzles. Well, Rubiks Cubes are the ultimate puzzles. They can work on and research the formula to be able to problem solve the Rubiks Cube code and put the colors together in no time at all. It will be fun and exciting and something that they can learn to explain to others as well. Crack the code and you have learned a skill for life. They will absolutely enjoy Math and problem-solving in a fun and exciting way. Special Needs students need ways to help them learn through hands-on exciting things. These Rubix Cubes are the answers.
