Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is geared towards my students' hunger. My students would love an area where they can choose a snack in the morning to eat or the afternoon to take home. My students are the kindest and hard working group of kids I have had in 19 years. They can benefit of having an area containing snacks because they will have the fuel within their stomachs to help them focus on their studies.
This station will make a difference to them.
They will not feel embarrassed for grabbing a snack in my classroom. They will feel comfortable to take it when they need it. Who can focus when your stomach is growling?
