My Project
Our extracurricular math teams have recently learned that RPN (Reverse Polish Notation) calculators are the calculators used by all the champions, and the preference is the HP-32SII. We are trying to add those to our inventory instead of using the school issued TI graphing calculators.
The only problem is that these are now hard to find as HP has quit making them and this makes them out of our budget too.
In searching the web, we have finally found them at Calculator Source and want to slowly try to gain enough for our entire team. This would give the first two students the calculators to start working, and if needed we could share them until we get more.
Our students are working hard. Our budget is generous, but looking for these hard to find calculators and purchasing through the school system has been a challenge. We are hoping through DonorsChoose and generous donors, we can get these calculators in our students hands so they can begin learning this new style of calculator.
