Row, Row, Row Your Boat

My students need to have some equipment in the workout room. This will give them more opportunities to be able to learn about working out and how good it can make our bodies feel.

My Students

We are a Title I school. Title I money can go to math and language arts, not PE. We are a very diverse population of lower to middle socioeconomic status. Our students range from Kindergarten to 8th grade. The neighborhood they live in is made up of trailers that are about 40 years old, manufactured homes, and then there are some homes that are newer with 2 car garages. They have hearts of gold and deserve to have the items necessary to meet our curriculum.

My Project

When students feel better about their bodies, they do better in all other aspects of their lives. We can help them learn that at an early age. By getting a rowing machine in our fitness room, we can begin the training!

Students who feel better about themselves, will perform better at school.

Having a rowing machine will be our start to getting some aerobic equipment to be able to help our students begin working out at an early age.

We are very excited to be able to get a rowing machine and other workout items to have our students start using it! The rowing machine will enhance their overall fitness. Thank you for helping our students do better for themselves, in school, and in life for many years to come.
