My Project

My classroom is filled with curious, creative, and enthusiastic learners who thrive on working together. They love engaging in group projects, hands-on activities, and peer discussions. Whether they're solving math problems, co-writing stories, or building science models, collaboration is at the heart of their learning experience. This project will provide two 48" round tables to support and encourage collaborative learning in our classroom.

Unlike traditional desks, round tables remove physical barriers and promote a sense of community by bringing students together—literally.

These tables will be used daily for group work, small-team discussions, center rotations, and peer feedback sessions. They offer the perfect space for students to sit together, share ideas, and work cooperatively on academic tasks and creative projects. Round tables naturally support face-to-face interaction and foster equal participation, which is especially beneficial for students developing communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

With these round tables, I can better organize my classroom for flexible groupings and differentiated instruction. Students will no longer need to awkwardly push desks together or crowd into tight corners to collaborate. The new seating will allow for smoother transitions, more inclusive conversations, and increased student ownership of their learning. Most importantly, these tables will support student voice and teamwork.
