Help me give my students a shelf to keep our writing materials in one place.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My third graders love writer's workshop!
This rotating shelf would help my budding authors organized and keep all of their writing materials in one single place.
Being a writer requires many supplies. We have writer's notebooks for collecting ideas, folders for developing and drafting stories and articles, different color pens for brainstorming and editing, reference materials for proofreading, and papers, markers, and colored pencils for publishing. The shelf's small footprint wouldn't take up too much space in our classroom and its rounded edges make it safer should anyone bump up against it.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
