Help me give my students the supplies they need to create a sustainable school garden that will provide hands-on learning opportunities, promote healthy eating, and foster environmental stewardship.
The school garden supplies will transform Hawtree Creek's brand-new garden into a vibrant garden where students can engage in experiential learning. The garden will include a variety of crops, flowers, and sustainable gardening practices. Students will have the opportunity to learn about agriculture, ecology, nutrition, and teamwork. In addition, the garden will serve as a resource for healthy food, providing fresh produce for the school and local community.
My goals are to engage students in hands-on activities to learn about biology, ecology, and sustainability.
As well as to teach them about healthy eating habits by introducing students to the benefits of growing their own food.
This garden is also a space that connects students, teachers, parents, and the local community through shared gardening activities.
