My Students

I have a diverse class filled with diverse learning needs. I have 12 TK students and 8 Kinders. As a first-year teacher arriving at this point in the school year, I am only just beginning to get to know them. Yet, I have quickly learned that they are eager to learn, enjoy being hands-on, and like to be challenged.

Together, we are learning how to problem solve and become more independent.

Our school serves students TK-5 and provides various enrichment programs to celebrate the many different modalities a student can learn and thrive in. Each day is a new day for our classroom to learn, discover, and explore more!

My Project

Help me provide a safe space for my students to learn! The long-term sub took her carpet with her and now my students are left without a rug to call their own. The lack of assigned seating threatens their ability to maintain focus during whole group instruction and makes for an uncomfortable experience.

With your help, my students can remain focused and engaged each day they come to class.

Our rug is the focal point of our classroom and will be used multiple times throughout the day. It is the perfect place to come together and work during the morning calendar, English Language Arts, and workshop rotations. This will allow students a comfortable space to safely learn and grow.
