Help me give my students the gift of healthy hearts and exercise during the long and cold winter months. Students need fun outlets to blow off steam and to engage in gross motor activities.

My Project
Please help our students engage in heart-healthy activities through the utilization of roller skates and additional equipment to encourage movement and increase health factors in students who are otherwise relegated to the indoors due to the severe and colder weather. Rollerskating would take place after school as both a club and an attendance incentive for students who have continued and sustained attendance records.
It has been proven that rollerskating increases the heart rate and is an easy and fun way for students to get up and move.
Our town has one paved road. Students are unable to roller skate in the warmer months due to the lack of paved roads. The school acts as both an educational and recreational venue for the residents of our town.
