Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our future second graders are resilient, hardworking individuals. They come from diverse challenged environments that consists of low economically disadvantaged environments, socially, and emotionally challenged, with special needs, homeless, and continued learning gaps.

With access to mobile rolling library carts in our classroom and organizational containers, our library books can be sorted and organized by themes and topics of interests for students to select easily.

These carts can also be taken to any area of the classroom to provide students a sense of ownership and preference for comfort and flexibility in their own classroom.

I want to continuously support and provide opportunities for my new 2nd Grade students to select books of their choice and interests to promote literacy. These mobile rolling carts will be the start in a positive direction to promote organization and flexibility that will support literacy.
