Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) class, students work together to build critical thinking and problem-solving skills. We’re asking for five rolling whiteboards to help make small-group work with college tutors more effective. These boards will give students a space to brainstorm, solve tough problems, and visually share their ideas. Since they’re mobile, we can easily move them around, set up quickly, and create a more flexible, interactive learning space.
When students can see their ideas take shape, they gain the confidence to think bigger, collaborate better, and solve problems more effectively.
These rolling whiteboards will turn learning into an active, hands-on experience that empowers them to succeed.
Our students are hardworking, determined, and eager to grow. Many face challenges but push through with perseverance. AVID helps them develop study skills, confidence, and a mindset for success. These skills will follow them on whatever path they choose after high school. These rolling whiteboards will give them another great resource to support their learning.
