My Project
This year I will be departmentalized and teaching first-grade reading. With this, I will need to provide places for students to store their materials. The drawers will be used at each table to help my students stay organized and find their materials easily. My students each year also love to read books, but some of our most loved books are falling apart at the seams. The stapler will help my students repair their most loved books and read them for years to come.
My students love novelty, and having a way to practice reading skills kinesthetically will help them enjoy the learning.
The sand, trays, and magnetic letters will motivate them to practice the new reading skills they learned.
