My first-grade students are growing up in a world of technology. They need to know what careers are out there waiting for them and how to compete in a global society. My students will be taught how to program robots to solve real-world problems in the classroom. We will use the Sphere Robots to enhance our learning. We are excited about programming Robots to improve our thinking.
We use Robots to enrich our STEMS lesson to learn critical thinking in our Math Classroom.
My Project
My students come from a rural background where they are not exposed to a lot of technology at home. They learn at school by thinking outside the box. The Sphero robot will be used to measure the length of the floor, follow a path, programming, and critical thinking.
The Sphero Robot teaches my students how to expand on their thinking and explore different ways to use math and technology with STEMS lessons.
These robots make learning fun and exciting. Student imagination is expanded when they are more involved in the subject. The robots enhance our STEM activities. We will use the robots in every subject during the day. Students will want to come to school to learn when we have Sphere robots in our class.
