Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Have you ever just looked at a group of kids and laughed? Those would be my kids. My kids are in my 4th-grade bilingual classroom. I am self-contained so I get the pleasure of teaching all the subjects and having fun with the same group of kiddos! They are bilingual students who love reading, math, social studies, and science. They are in a Title I school so all my kids receive free lunch, ride the bus and come from low-income households. We are ready to work through these new challenges together and with your help I know we can do it.

I am so excited to see my kids every morning and learn something new together as a family!

They are my babies for an entire school year and I hope to make this one a special one to remember as it is their last year of elementary school.

My Project

We are blessed to have enough devices at my Title I school for my class. Now, I just need a little help to store them somewhere safe, secure, and easily accessible. With 20 students in my class, I want to have all their devices ready to go each morning for them to work and learn new things. Having to struggle with some students having their devices charged while others do not is something in my control that I can change. I would be so sad to have an amazing lesson but half my class up against the wall charging their laptop because they could not find an outlet the previous day!

For easy accessibility, I can plug in their laptop cart every afternoon so that their laptop is ready for takeoff the next morning!
