This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our 8th grade science classroom gets a lot of foot traffic and hands-on activity, which means our floors get messy—fast. With 150 students rotating through labs, projects, and collaborative work, keeping the space clean is a constant challenge. With budget cuts and not enough custodial staff to sweep every day, A Roomba would be a game-changer, helping maintain a tidy learning environment so we can focus on science instead of sweeping. It also connects to our curriculum: students will explore the Roomba's sensors, automation, and robotics as part of our engineering and design unit. Help us keep our classroom clean and spark STEM curiosity at the same time!
