Rolling in Creativity:A Cart Full of Color and Possibility

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach visual arts to incredible elementary students in Jackson Heights, Queens—one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the world. My students come from many cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and they bring so much creativity, curiosity, and joy to every project we do. Art gives them a way to express themselves, build confidence, and share their unique voices.
Since I teach art on a cart, I travel from classroom to classroom each day, bringing all the supplies students need to make their ideas come to life.
The Hulken carts I’m requesting—a medium and a large—will allow me to transport materials more efficiently, safely, and with less physical strain. With sturdy, rolling carts, I’ll be able to set up and clean up faster, spend more time focusing on student creativity, and bring a full, organized art experience to every room I visit.
These carts will help keep supplies accessible and organized, so my students can explore and create without delay. Your support means the world to us—and brings art to life in every corner of our school.
