This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Phonics is, inarguably, one of the most important ways to teach a child to read. With the systematic and explicit teaching of the connections between letters and sounds, a child can learn both to read and to write. The "Roll and Read Phonics Game" is designed to make learning the relationships between letters and sounds, and between sounds and how a word is spelled, as simple and fun as possible! Phonics is a helpful key to reading because a person can learn to read any word in the English language if they know the way that the word is spelled. Practice in using the relationships between sounds and letters is just the beginning!
As a result, my first graders would greatly benefit from engaging in play-oriented learning from the "Roll and Read Phonics Game" to improve their phonics skills!
