Next year, I am transitioning to third grade ELA (after three years in math!). As a result, I am SO EXCITED but I need resources to improve my student's literacy learning experiences. I am working with their current teacher to determine gaps to target.
Phonics and phonemic awareness are integral pieces to decoding higher-level reading texts.
These phonics games and magnetic word-building tiles will be so beneficial to build on their skills and improve reading comprehension. It will also give them access to independent practice in a structured, repetitive manner.
I already met most of my students for next year at their Black History Month wax museum. I am elated to work with their passionate, bright minds!! Please consider donating to this project to improve my student's reading experiences.
