Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In the the primary grades, we do 90% of our learning on the floor. My fun, energetic class of little learners will love the opportunity to learn on a carpet that has their own personal space to sit and to get their wiggles out if needed. This classroom carpet will also help with collaborative partnering, small grouping, and personal space awareness between peers. On the carpet we will learn science and social studies, SEL lessons, guided writing, math and reading mini lessons, read alouds, station activities and phonics practice everyday!
