My Project
I work in a K-12 school that serves a population of students who receive both classroom instruction and day treatment for mental health issues. Our students attend our school when transitioning from a stay in a mental health facility, with a goal of returning to a traditional classroom; or come from a traditional classroom for a temporary stay while waiting for an opening in a long-term care facility.
I travel from classroom to classroom each day, so having a rolling workstation would maximize instructional time with my students.
We are a school of high poverty, and we do not have a PTA that normally helps families and teachers with school supplies and equipment purchases. Thank you so much for your donation!
