Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class recycles cans, bottles, and paper for the entire school. It is a big job, and we need a cart to help us. Our recycling program teaches students how to use a task list, builds work stamina, and expands their employability skills. Over their four years in transition class, students learn to initiate tasks, do them accurately, and work with their peers to get a job done. Having a recycling bin they can push to Herbison would make the students even more independent. We'd love it if you can support our classroom in becoming the best workers we can be!
