My Project

Students learn by doing. With these kits and supplies the students will be able to practice mineral identification. They can read and learn about rocks and minerals while having hands-on experiences.

The students can practice testing minerals.

This is a great opportunity to practice collecting and analyzing data, which supports Science and Math. The scratch plates can be used for testing steak color. Students can also find the mass of the minerals using pan balances at school with the plastic weights.

These supplies would allow students to be fully engaged in learning about rocks and minerals.
