This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach Kindergarten students in a low-income area. My students are wonderful, caring, and are hard workers. They amaze me every day with their abilities to problem solve, and think "Outside of the box". I teach English curriculum to students that are both fluent in English, and are ELL students.

Our class is; energetic, caring, and eager to learn.

They are always looking to explore new things, and meet new challenges.

My Project

With my students being 4-6 years of age, they tend to struggle with learning from home due to lack of materials, and loud surroundings. Headphones will help my students to focus on their classroom activities. It will make it so I can hear them better, and other noises will be a little less likely to disrupt the class. The boards and markers will help student participate, even if they lack supplies at home. They will able to answer questions in real time, and hold up the board for quick assessment.
