My Project

My awesome group of 23 third grade students have been working so hard this school year. I have noticed that they are exceptional workers when they are able to come to school and have flexible seating options, incentives, and also a comfortable spot to learn and do their work. They show growth in their social and emotional abilities as well as becoming independent. I would love to give them more flexible seating options that teach them life skills such as sharing, taking turns, being productive, and also being kind to one another.

My students are constantly showing kindness and willingness to help one another and I want to show gratitude by offering them incentives for displaying those traits.

I also want to foster engineering, problem solving, growth mindset, and productive struggle in my classroom daily with the STEM materials that I am hoping to include and offer for my students. Not many students have access to these types of resources at home and they have so much fun being able to play and build with them.
