This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how curious, kind, and eager my first graders are to learn and explore together. They thrive in spaces where they feel safe, supported, and connected. The rocking chair will allow me to sit with them at their level during circle time, making story time and lessons more personal and engaging. The storage furniture will give students easy access to materials, helping them stay organized and encouraging independence.

These additions will help create a cozy, welcoming classroom where my students can learn, work together, and truly feel like they belong.
