This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are biliterate and their love for reading is just beginning! The joy that they show when listening to read alouds is unprecedented. After we finish a book together as a class, it's a race to our classroom library to obtain that book.

The books in this project are some of my students most favorite, and they become so excited when it's time to read!

They love the story line, they love the formatting, and most of all, they connect with the characters and their message. I want nothing more than to foster a love for reading in my young readers.
