My Students

“You cannot open a book without learning something,” Confucius said, and my students apply this quote in our classroom every day.

My students are in kindergarten through fifth grade classes for students with severe disabilities.

They attend a public elementary school with their neighborhood peers. Their differing abilities include: Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Epilepsy, visual impairments, and hearing impairments. Many have parents currently serving in the U.S. Military.

My Project

The Alphabet Read Along Literacy Packs that I am requesting are amazing. They contain early reading books which are bright and fun and just the right size for our reading center. Each book comes with a CD so the students can listen to the story as well as flashcards with the sight words in each story.

Your donation will help my students soar with reading decoding, sight words, and listening skills.

It will help improve their overall reading abilities and open up untold learning opportunities in the future.
