This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Water rockets have always been one of the most exciting and engaging science activities. They encourage learners to think critically, solve problems creatively, and showcase their ingenuity through hands-on design. These are exactly the qualities I hope to nurture in my students.

This year, I aim to take their learning to new heights making our lessons even more hands-on, outdoor, relevant, and… 3, 2, 1, BLAST OFF!

With your support, we can acquire a reliable Water Rocket Launcher that will help bring this vision to life.

Our initial goal is to integrate water rockets into our Physics lessons as an interactive classroom activity. In the long term, however, I envision establishing a school-wide Annual Water Rocket Competition, allowing students from all classes and grade levels to experience the excitement and creativity this activity offers.
