My Project
This project is designed to give my students a better understanding of quadratics and their mathematics. The bottle rocket project is designed to help students see how motion, physics, and algebra intersect.
Students will build - and launch - rockets of their own design before measuring the mathematics!
These supplies will give my students the ability to strengthen their mathematical knowledge and answer the question of: "when will we do this in the real world?"
Beyond being exciting and engaging, this gives us a real opportunity to study mathematical phenomena in the world around us.
