My Project
As the only reading teacher in my grade, my classroom serves as a second library to our students. This year I want to focus on helping my students find their passion for reading.
Our school is in a book desert. The nearest public library takes 2 hours by public transport. I am hoping to build a collection of books that is easily accessible and peaks my students interests.
With a total of 81 countries and 10-15 different home languages, my students deserve a library just as diverse as they are.
